Paul Diestelkamp: Experienced Air Traffic Controller and Head of Business Development & Solutions, Air Navigation Solutions
Paul has been working in air traffic management since 2005 and was involved in the drone incident at Gatwick airport in December 2018. He began his career as an Air Traffic Control Officer and is now leading the development of new concepts and solutions, including Air Navigation Solution’s (ANSL) work to integrate drone operations on airports and concepts for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations of drones.
Sam Pile: Airline Pilot and Director of Perspective Media Ltd. (Drone Aerial Media & Surveying Company)
Sam worked closely with international airports to ensure the safe operations of UAS on and off the airport. He has a degree in Airport Transport Management and is an airline pilot himself. Sam is the Director of drone aerial media & surveying company Perspective Media Ltd. and holds an operational safety case for non-standard permissions with the CAA.
